Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Carer Lived Experience Worker (CLEW) (Peer Support) to join our growing team on a temporary part-time basis.
About the Role
As a Carer Lived Experience Worker, you will draw on your personal experience of supporting someone through mental health challenges to provide meaningful peer support to carers, families and supporters.
You will build authentic, empathetic relationships by purposefully sharing your lived experience, helping others feel understood, supported and empowered. Your work will support carers to navigate the mental health system, strengthen their confidence, and foster hope in recovery.
This is a non-clinical role and an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing lived experience perspectives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
