Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) Emergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities delivered through Emergency Management Victoria, Emergency Recovery Victoria, Sector Performance and Reform and emergency management statutory entities and offices. The work of the group supports the emergency management sector to work together and to strengthen the capacity of individuals, communities, government, agencies and business to achieve our shared vision of safer and more resilient communities and to rebuild and recover after an emergency.
What does the business unit do?
The Office of the Deputy Secretary provides executive support to the Deputy Secretary, Emergency Management, including high-level advice, secretarial and administrative support to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the Emergency Management. The team provides high-level authoritative strategic advice to the Deputy Secretary on complex and sensitive matters.
What will the role do?
Reporting to the Senior Strategic Advisor to the Deputy Secretary, Emergency Management, the Business Support Coordinator is responsible for providing complex, high quality administrative support to the Office of the Deputy Secretary
