The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Business Services Manager to provide a critical role within the Security and Intelligence Division.
About the Business Unit

The Security and Intelligence Division within Corrections Victoria provides a range of state-wide security-related, emergency management, and intelligence services. The Security and Intelligence Division consists of the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, the Security and Emergency Services Group (including the Emergency Management Unit), the Security Standards Unit, Electronic Monitoring Services and the Corrections Victoria Intelligence Unit.
About the Role
The Business Services Manager reports to the General Manager, Electronic Monitoring Services providing strategic and operational support. This includes oversight of payroll services, planning, training coordination, budget and financial management, facility management, procurement, and human resources. The role manages the divisions Human Resources and Finance team and serves as a key conduit between the division's contract managers and the Procurement and Contracts and Infrastructure Branch, ensuring streamlined communication, advice and alignment on contract-related matters.
The Business Services Manager also develops complex briefs and reports to support informed decision-making, works with divisional leaders to develop workforce planning and development products and solutions, leads projects related to the HR portfolio and provides project support to the Office of the Assistant Commissioner as required. Travel to other CV locations may be necessary to support the divisions work.
