About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 11 January 2027
The Business Services Lead manages the centralised Business Services team within the Regional Transport division of the Department of Transport and Planning, overseeing key functions including fleet, facilities management, correspondence and parliamentary coordination, business improvement, occupational health, safety and wellbeing, PPE orders, and general administrative support. The role provides strategic and high-level administrative support to the Regional Services Manager, directorate and region, while leading a multidisciplinary team across Business Administration, Business Improvement and OHS. The position requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement skills, sound judgement and ideally qualifications in Business, Safety, Business Improvement or General Management.

Drivers licence.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
Experience providing executive level support will be highly regarded.
