About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to design and deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions that support evidence-based decision making across the department.
In this role, you will enhance and extend enterprise reporting services, leveraging curated and governed data from the department's data and analytics platform. You will gather and translate Business Intelligence (BI) requirements into well-architected BI solutions, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise reporting to meet diverse business needs.
Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will ensure BI solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, visually intuitive, governed, and delivered within agreed timeframes in an agile delivery environment.

About the Branch
The Information Management Branch oversees how data is collected, organised, distributed, and utilised across schools, early childhood education, corporate offices, and the Department. Focus areas include the Data Governance Council and custodianship model, ensuring accountability and stewardship of data; advanced analytics; Business Intelligence (BI); Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI (Gen AI); Master Data Management (MDM) for data integrity; and the use of data warehousing for effective data organisation. By collaborating with stakeholders, initiatives are aligned with departmental goals, fostering data-driven decision-making to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes for children and students.
