The Department of Justice and Community Safety is responsible for the statutory supervision of children and young people in the criminal justice system.
The Youth Justice group provides programs and resources to assist young offenders to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage their lives effectively without further offending. Through supervision, offending related programs and linkages to appropriate support services, Youth Justice promotes opportunities for rehabilitation and contributes to the reduction of crime in the community.
The Performance and Evaluation team within the System Performance and Workforce Support unit, is responsible for generating analytical insights, monitoring service performance and outcomes, performance reporting and system planning to promote whole of system accountability to improve outcomes of young people and the community.
The opportunity
To be successful in this role you will have experience in:
A qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Financial Analytics or similar, and/or a certification in Power BI, Tableau and Business Analysis is also desirable.
A current full driver's license is required as travel to other offices within the department is required.
You will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be maintained by the employee for the period of employment.
