About the Division
The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) delivers innovative and integrated technology and information management services to support education outcomes across Victoria. The division is currently driving a digital transformation program to enhance technology maturity and innovation across the department.
About the Role
The Business Analyst will analyse business needs and design solutions that enable technology-driven initiatives and business transformation in Victoria's K–12 education system. This role focuses on requirements lifecycle management, process modelling using BPMN and ArchiMate, business capability development, and use case definition with UML. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are strategically aligned and deliver measurable value.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in eliciting and managing requirements, facilitating workshops, modelling business processes, and supporting capability mapping. You will be proficient in documenting business rules, functional specifications, and use cases, and have the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across complex environments.
