About the Role
This is an ongoing opportunity to join the Information Security Services branch within IMTD reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
The Branch and Administrative Support Officer role will perform duties including email and calendar management, scheduling, secretariat duties, travel coordination, and general tasks as they arise.
This is a diverse, hands-on role which requires you to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive correspondence and other information, interpersonal skilfulness, energy, and attention to detail. You will need to manage relationships, on behalf of the CISO, with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) provides secure, reliable and integrated information and technology platforms, systems and services that transform education environments, and enable a great education outcome for every child and young person.
IMTD guides the technology capability and leads digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools and early learning and childcare centres. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
With a notable recent increase in cyber-attacks and cyber risks to schools and departmental operations, the privacy and safety of staff and students in online environments is a key priority. The Information Security Services (ISS) branch ensures schools, and the department have the highest security standards, guidelines, and best practice. ISS assesses cyber risks by third parties, new and existing technology services and ensures all parties comply with the depart ment's security policies.
