The Apprenticeship Field Services Unit:
The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority ('the VRQA') is Victoria's education and training regulator and is established under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (ETR Act).
The Apprenticeship Field Services Unit is responsible for regulating employers of apprentices and trainees and ensuring employers meet their obligations to provide quality training and keep apprentices and trainees safe. This includes deploying Authorised Officers into the field to investigate potential breaches of the ETR Act and educate employeres, apprentices and trainees about their rights and obligations.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Compliance and Investigations, the Authorised Officer's role is to conduct investigations and ensure apprentices and trainees are safe and receiving the training they need to complete their qualification. The successful applicant will demonstrate integrity and initiative in the performance of their duties, which include:
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of investigative processes and methodologies, with experience in regulation high regarded.
A Certificate IV in Government Investigations is desirable.
