About us:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Assurance and Investigation Lead to join its Safety, Wellbeing and Compliance (SWC) team. This role is pivotal in establishing and overseeing the department's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) assurance, auditing and investigative functions.
About the role:
You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and embedding robust frameworks that guide how investigations, audits and governance activities are conducted across the department. You will also lead and oversee complex or high-risk incident investigations and regulatory responses, ensuring that root causes are identified and addressed through effective risk controls.
