About Ward 17 – Psychological Trauma Recovery Services (PTRS)
Ward 17 is 20-bed Statewide Specialist Mental Health Unit, providing comprehensive and evidence-based treatments for adults experiencing trauma-related mental health conditions.
We provide services for current serving members of the Australian Defence Forces, Veterans and First Responders (such as Victoria Police, Ambulance and Fire Services). PTSD is frequently the primary focus of our treatment however, we also support individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, and limited alcohol and/or illicit drug misuse.
About the role
The RPN3 Associate Nurse Unit Manager is a recognised clinical leader within the PTRS Nursing Team, who works closely with the NUM and medical leads, to ensure the provision of high quality, recovery orientated care, and foster a positive team culture.
