The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.

About the Role
Associate to the Honourable Justice Harris
Supreme Court of Victoria
The Honourable Justice Harris is seeking a legally qualified individual to be her Associate commencing in October 2025.
Justice Harris has a background in commercial law, professional and public liability, and public law. Her Honour sits in the Common Law Division and hears common law matters across the breadth of that Division, and also sits in the Commercial Court. She is currently in charge of the Property List at the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The successful applicant would have strong writing and research skills and a desire to pursue excellence in their role. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the Common Law Division and Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

About You
You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to confidently and accurately convey information over the telephone, in person, and via written communication to members of the legal profession, the public and the media.
Exceptional proofreading and writing skills, proficiency in grammar and an excellent academic record is essential.
Must be qualified in Law with 1-2 years post admission experience desirable but not essential.
