About the Role
This is an ongoing STS role.
The Associate Director, Heavy Vehicle Operational Access plays a critical leadership role within the Network Change division, reporting directly to the Executive Director, Network Change. This position leads multiple teams of technical experts responsible for assessing and managing heavy vehicle access across the Victorian road network, including all vehicle classes and super loads.
You will oversee structural assessments to determine access restrictions, travel conditions, and monitoring requirements, ensuring a network that is safe, efficient, and sustainable. In addition, you will be accountable for the Network Permits team, which manages access applications for all heavy vehicle classes.
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement are key aspects of this role. You will develop and maintain effective partnerships across government, industry, and community stakeholders to support an efficient operating model that balances productivity with safety and asset performance.
