Key Selection Criteria
1. Educational Leadership

Stockdale Road Primary School is located in Traralgon, the largest city in the Latrobe Valley, approximately 160km east of Melbourne. As one of four government schools in Traralgon, we maintain a consistent enrolment of 450-475 students with stable Student Family Occupation (SFO) and Student Family Education (SFOE) indices.
Our school features single cohort classes for Prep to Grade 2 and multi-age classes for Grades 3/4 and 5/6, along with specialist programs in Art, Physical Education, Science, and Paddock to Plate. Every classroom benefits from dedicated Education Support staff, and all students receive weekly Auslan language instruction.
The school is led by a full-time Principal, two Assistant Principals, and four Learning Specialists (two classroom-based), complemented by a full-time Wellbeing Officer/Youth Counsellor and a part-time Community Health Nurse. Student support is prioritised through our school employed Speech Therapist and School Psychologist, who assist our 38 students receiving Tier 3 Disability Inclusion Funding and PSD support as of 2024.
