About the role:
As a Central Information Point (CIP) Assistant Manager, you will be part of a close-knit cross agency team collocated at Family Safety Victoria (CBD location). The Central Information Point (CIP) was formed as a result of a recommendation from the Royal Commission into Family Violence to better serve the needs of family violence victim-survivors. The CIP consists of co-located, multidisciplinary teams from Victoria Police, Court Services Victoria, Corrections Victoria, and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, who perform the role of Data Custodians to provide a summary of targeted information, upon request from the Orange Door networks.
The CIP Assistant Manager role will involve overseeing and supervising the Data Custodians and the activities of the CIP. This position is established within Victoria Police however will be co-located within the multi-disciplinary team run by FSV.
The CIP operates during regular 9 - 5 business hours. A flexible hybrid working arrangement exists that includes a work from home / work from office split. There are no shift work, weekend or public holiday requirements. There are occasional opportunities to work overtime, if desired.
