The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking 7 x Assistant Manager's to provide a critical role within the Sentence Management Division.
About the Business Unit
The Sentence Management Division is responsible for identifying those in custody's needs and matching them to correctional resources with the objective of placing and managing them appropriately. It is a process of balancing security, management and needs of those in custody, the community need for protection and efficient and effective operation of the correctional system. The Sentence Management Division is responsible for guiding the journey of offenders across the period of their sentence.
About the Role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for vacancy management, placement, and classification of people in custody across both public and private prisons in Victoria.
