About the Role:
The Assistant Building Auditor has primary responsibility to assist in delivering technical knowledge and application to the inspection, assessment and reporting of building issues for the BPC's Building Audit activity. This position supports the Team Leader of Building Audit to ensure the operational function is being carried out with technical accuracy.
The position measures and monitors the quality and compliance of building practitioner work in Victoria relating to adherence with the Building Act, Regulations and National Construction Code, identifies systemic risks and recommends active intervention measures to strengthen the regulatory system and support the BPC's effectiveness as a contemporary Regulator.
