The Role
An Assistant in an advisory unit is someone who provides support to an advisor or an executive, freeing them to focus on more strategic or complex matters. The Assistant provides high-level executive support to the Place Based Strategy, Insights and Coordination (PBSIC) branch with a primary focus on supporting the Executive Director, working closely with the Principal Adviser

The Team
The position of Assistant forms a part of the Place Based Strategy, Insights and Coordination branch within the Regional Development Victoria group.
The Place Based Strategy, Insights and Coordination branch plays a key role in leading place-based policy and insights both within DJSIR and across the VPS. The branch delivers the evidence base and policy platform to influence regional economic outcomes across government and support high quality program delivery in partnership with Regional Development Victoria (RDV) and other groups and departments.
