About the role: Ongoing Role, Full Time
The Asset Project Officer, Engineering provides a technical support function to the Asset Planning unit. The role supports the planning, development and implementation of processes, systems, tools, and reporting to facilitate the delivery of best-practice asset planning and operational outcomes. Additionally, the role will provide risk-based asset assessment and analysis of the existing and future asset needs. The role supports and advises on the impact of design decisions on the long-term outcomes of department capital projects and investments.

The ideal candidate will have understanding of health infrastructure, asset management, and engineering maintenance, as well as the operational realities that health services are operating in. They will possess the ability to influence others to optimise health infrastructure performance over the long term. Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills are essential, complemented by excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
