About the role
The Assets Information Analyst is responsible for the end -to-end of Road asset data and information, including data validation, ETL, updates, reporting and visualisation. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency and accessibility of asset information within the road asset information system. This role will support and provide timely advice to internal and external stakeholders and ensure that asset data is processed, maintained and published in alignment with business and operational requirements.
This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Assets Information Analyst to establish business process to align with Asset Intelligence’s strategic business requirements, drive improvement processes, and maintain integrity of information flow within Road’s Information Systems.

Position accountabilities
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to deliver high-quality data analysis and reporting to support asset management and organisational priorities. You will analyse spatial and non-spatial data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility, and produce clear, evidence-based insights for decision-making. The role involves managing and maintaining road asset data, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring timely and accurate data is available to support the planning and delivery of asset maintenance activities. It also requires engaging with internal teams to understand issues and contribute to effective resolution. Strong communication skills are essential for translating complex technical information into clear reports, briefings, and presentations.
