About the Department
The Department of Education leads the delivery of education and development services to children, young people and adults through government schools and through the regulation and funding of early childhood services, non-government schools and training programmes.
The role sits within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) in the Financial Policy and Information Services Group, supporting digital innovation and technology maturity across the department.
About the Role
The Application Architect is responsible for leading and supporting key architectural services across technology programmes and initiatives. This includes, conducting architecture reviews, evaluating new and emerging technologies, developing technology roadmaps and providing architectural planning and solution design support.
The role ensures application architectures align with departmental strategy and enterprise architecture principles, supporting high-value digital initiatives across Victoria's K–12 education system.
