About us
The Department of Treasury and Finance provides economic, financial and resource management advice to help the Victorian Government deliver its policies. We strive for excellence in financial and economic management to improve the lives of all Victorians.
The Infrastructure Division was formed in November 2023 with a merger of the DTF infrastructure groups and the former Office of Projects Victoria groups. The Infrastructure Division's primary focus is providing advice on infrastructure projects throughout all phases of development and implementation.
The Infrastructure Delivery Group are whole of government procurement experts advising on major and complex infrastructure projects, including using private finance and private sector proposals, to achieve value for money for Victorians. The group ensures the optimal approach to procurement and commercial structuring is applied, identifies opportunities for Partnerships Victoria projects and undertakes project assurance. The group also drives consistency in the application of procurement policy and standard form contracts, administers the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction and implements the Market-led Proposals Guideline.
