An exciting opportunity is available for an individual with data analysis skills and an interest in school operations, disability and inclusive education to expand and develop their skills while supporting the implementation of a critical reform.
The Policy and Data Analyst works flexibly to support the Disability Inclusion Resourcing team's work-streams. This includes supporting the generation and Quality Assurance of budget files; mapping, supporting, and improving team procedures and processes (including analysis and clean-up of excel files); and supporting budget analysis and forecasting.

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Inclusive Education Division (IncED) plays a key role in delivering the Education State agenda by ensuring that all students, regardless of background or circumstance, can access quality education. IncED supports the goal of helping ensure all students are engaged and active learners and are provided with the skills, knowledge and attributes they need to succeed in work and life.
IncED leads the department's efforts to implement policy and programs and enhance service delivery to improve outcomes for children and young people with disability and additional needs. This includes driving inclusive education reforms, including the Disability Inclusion reform.
About the Branch
The Disability Inclusion Delivery Branch is responsible for the delivery of the Disability Inclusion funding and support model.
It leads the design, implementation and management of Disability Inclusion funding models (Tier 2 and Tier 3), the Disability Inclusion Profile, and monitors and reports on reform delivery.
About the Team
The Disability Inclusion Resourcing team is responsible for translating the outcomes of the Disability Inclusion Profile process into funding outcomes for all government schools across the state. The team plays a central role in budget management, modelling, and forecasting for the >$1.6 billion Disability Inclusion reform, and provides budget education and support to schools.
