About the role
This is an ongoing role. As an Analyst you will contribute to the development of the Department Performance Statement by undertaking detailed analysis and preparing high-quality reports and briefings on output performance measures, targets and results. The position supports performance monitoring by helping interpret data, identify trends and ensure information is accurate, clear and aligned with reporting requirements.
Position accountabilities
– Collect, collate and analyse data and information relating to:
– the Department Performance Statement.
– Public Accounts and Estimates Committee hearings on performance outcomes and budget estimates.
– Central agency, ministerial and departmental executive investment and delivery tracking.
– DTP Annual Report to report departmental achievements and the department’s output performance report.
– Contribute to preparation of reports, presentations and briefs that are timely, accurate, high-quality and derived from a wide range of data sources.
– Support the development and maintenance of datasets, systems, tools and administrative processes used within the team.
– Liaise with stakeholders across the Department, its portfolio agencies and central agencies as required.
