About the Role
This is a Permanent Part Time grade 2 position at 0.4 FTE / 30.4 hours per fortnight within the Stepped Care Developmental Intake Service.
As part of this team, you will be responsible for triaging all developmental referrals received by the hospital. You will utilise a variety of triage tools including a developmental eligibility matrix, telephone screening interviews with families, team case conferences and where necessary, face to face appointments with families. You will be an innovative thinker with the ability to work closely with internal RCH departments and community developmental care teams to build strong working relationships to improve access to developmental care for families.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 2 year 1 to Grade 2 year 4 for Occupational Therapy (VF6 - VF9), Physiotherapy (VB1 – VB4), Speech Pathology (VW1 – VW4) and Psychology (PK1 – PK4).
