Suitable applicants must hold an allied health professional's qualification in Appendix Four Section A of the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 and be registered as such wit AHPRA.
The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time 64.0 hours per fortnight
The Position:
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and provision of clinical educational support to Allied Health Teams across BRHS and other East Gippsland public health services. Working with key internal and external partners, the role will be to advise, lead & coordinate in the development, implementation and evaluation of education to support students, early graduate and graduate staff in Allied Health Science and Therapy Departments. The Allied Health Educator will serve as a resource for staff in the provision, management and supervision of student placements, including support for managing underperforming students. The role will consistently review government, health sector and tertiary requirements, and ensures compliance with directions and data/funding reporting requirements.
