About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our Speech Pathology team across inpatient and community rehabilitation settings. This is a full-time, 12-week long service leave backfill opportunity commencing in early December 2026, currently split across inpatient services for three days per week and community rehabilitation (McK) for two days per week. Job share arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Under the delegation and supervision of Speech Pathologists, you will support the delivery of 1:1 and group therapy interventions for patients with communication and swallowing goals. You will contribute to person-centred, evidence-based care and undertake delegated clinical, administrative and rehabilitation activities within your scope of practice.
Working as part of a broader multidisciplinary team of allied health, nursing and medical professionals, you will support quality patient care across both inpatient and community rehabilitation settings while developing your skills and contributing to a positive team environment.
