Advisor, Systems
The Role
The Advisor, Systems plays a critical role in supporting the department's Public Accounts and Estimates Committee (PAEC) deliverables and other government and parliamentary processes. Reporting to the Manager, Ministerial Coordination and Advice in the Government and Parliamentary Services Unit, the role ensures the department and its agencies across the portfolio provide efficient, high-quality, timely, and coordinated advice to support Ministers.
Additionally, you will oversee the administration and enhancements of Government and Parliamentary Services (GPS) business systems, including eBriefings, eCabinet, and WebPPQ/PAEC systems, ensuring their effective operation while maintaining guidelines, procedures, and templates. You will have the opportunity to support ongoing improvements and contribute to projects that uplift the efficiency and effectiveness of ministerial coordination and corporate services.

The Team
The position of Advisor, Systems is part of the Government and Parliamentary Services Unit within the Strategy, Performance and Governance Branch of the Corporate Services group.
The Strategy, Performance and Governance Branch focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Corporate Services Group and the department as a whole. This includes coordinating engagement with Ministers' offices, driving strategic projects, and leading risk, assurance, and compliance programs. The branch supports the department through high-quality reporting, planning, and the development of operational initiatives to ensure accountability and compliance.
About You
To succeed in the Advisor Systems role, you will have:
Experience with SharePoint applications and the ability to perform technical functions relevant to the role will be highly regarded.
