The Advisor, Recovery supports the provision of high-level advice, coordination, strategic policy and project support to deliver departmental and whole of government priorities for coast and emergency recovery coordination. This role requires a sound understanding of public administration and policy development, and a detailed knowledge of government processes to provide advice and coordination for the Director, DEECA Recovery Coordination and Coastal Operation and across all DEECA portfolios. You will also support the development of business cases and use your understanding of emergency management frameworks to support the development of strategies, reviews, continuous improvement and coastal emergency management maturity.
