About this opportunity
Reporting directly to the Business Partner, People and Employee Relations, this role is responsible for assessing pre-employment screening escalations and supporting onboarding compliance for our election workforce. This role will also contribute to the effective resolution of complaints and workplace concerns across the organisation through the provision of timely and practical advice and case management support.
About the team
The Advisor, Employee Relations sits within the Business Partnering and Employee Relations team. This team is responsible for partnering with leaders across the organisation to deliver strategic advice in line with strategic objectives and priorities.
A day in the life of an Advisor, Employee Relations
As an Advisor, Employee Relations, you will play an important role in supporting pre-employment screening escalations and onboarding compliance for our casual election workforce.
Working with the wider team, you will also contribute to the management of employee and industrial relations matters, including employee enquiries, complaints, and workplace concerns. You will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, provide timely advice, and support fair and consistent outcomes.
You need to be organised and solutions focused, with the ability to respond to changing priorities in a dynamic environment as we approach the 2026 Victorian State election.
