The Opportunity
The Specialist Clinics Team operate the RCH’s outpatient service for all medical and surgical departments of the hospital.
As an Administration Officer your daily tasks may include a combination of:
- maintaining accurate patient data, completing referral and discharge tasks, and overseeing triage and waitlist processes
- managing communication with clinicians and staff through email, messages, paging and switchboard tasks
- providing a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for patients and families (if patient-facing)
- setting up clinic rooms, keep workstations and waiting areas clean, tidy and welcoming

What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Strong communication skills with a professional and positive attitude
- An ability to take accountability for your own workload, whilst also contributing to a team
- Previous customer service experience is highly regarded
- Whilst not essential, an understanding of the Victorian Healthcare system is a benefit to your application
