About the role
Western Health is offering an exciting role in the Division of Aged, General Medicine and Subacute Services for an experienced Hospital Administration Officer to join the Subacute and Non-Acute Access and Pathways (SNAP) service. This is a permanent, part-time position, based at Footscray Hospital.
The SNAP service at Western Health is a key service ensuring that patients have access to the right subacute and non-acute pathways, at the right time and service location. This role involves undertaking a wide range of administrative functions that support the SNAP team, including but not limited to, the coordination of SNAP referrals, communication with relevant stakeholders and assisting with allocating sub-acute bed transfers.

About you:
You are highly efficient, detail-oriented and have recent experience working as a hospital Administration Officer. You are proficient at navigating hospital technology systems, for example, Electronic Medical Records. You demonstrate strong organisational skills to assist with allocating beds to ensure that patients seamlessly transition into subacute and non-acute pathways. You are a skilled communicator and able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders including healthcare professionals, external referrers and families to deliver the right care at the right time.
