This role reports to the Group Leader and will provide administrative support to the Local Office/Team in Health and Safety Operations. The incumbent will be required to undertake either all or a mix of tasks at any point in time to ensure that all the functional areas are supported. It is essential that this role be undertaken with a fine eye for detail and the ability to provide an exemplary standard of service to internal and external clients.
- $84,066.00 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation
- Part Time – 22.8 hours per week, fixed term opportunity until 16/3/2027 (parental leave backfill)

Key accountabilities
- Provide administrative support to Inspectorate teams. This may include providing support to statutory functions carried out by the area, developing and maintaining registers (for issues, correspondence, permissioning, risk, assets etc.), participation in quality assurance or audit activities or developing operational reports as required
- Support stakeholder events and forums with both internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling, administrative arrangements, assisting with preparation of papers and liaising with stakeholders as required
- Drafting, co-ordinating, finalising, formatting and supporting the development and distribution of documents such as meeting agendas, minutes and presentations as required
- Managing business processes for the team such as access to systems, processing purchase orders, invoices and accruals in accordance with WorkSafe Victoria policy and procedures
- Support effective document and file management in accordance with WorkSafe Victoria policy and procedures
- Day to day office coordination; proactively keeping all office functions working efficiently.

- Experience in a similar role and undertaking administrative tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Organised work practices and the ability to address fluctuating work demands, changing priorities and timelines
- Superior level of customer service skill
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to liaise on a professional level with a diverse client group
- Good interpersonal skill with the ability to develop positive business relationship
- Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email High level of keyboard accuracy and an eye for detail
