Lead. Enable. Shape digital healthcare at scale.
The Department of Clinical Informatics, established in February 2025, is a cornerstone of Monash Health’s new digital strategy.
Bringing together the portfolios of the Chief Nursing & Midwifery Information Officer (CNMIO) and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), the Department provides integrated clinical leadership across digital health, clinical information governance, analytics and insights, digital training and adoption, artificial intelligence, user and consumer experience, strategy and data stewardship.
Our long-term Executive Assistant is moving on after years of incredible service, leaving behind systems that work, leaders who are well supported, and a role that truly matters.
Now is the perfect time to recognise the evolution of this role and celebrate the next chapter for our team. There are some big, very well organised shoes to fill — but we’re excited to welcome the next person ready to make this role their own.
You’re not only supporting executives — you’re enabling digital transformation at scale.
We are now seeking an experienced and highly capable Administration Manager to support this senior clinical digital leadership team on a permanent, full-time basis, based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton. A hybrid working arrangement may be considered following completion of the probationary period.
This is a pivotal, high-trust role at the centre of a fast-paced, future-focused environment that is actively transforming healthcare delivery through digital innovation.
Reporting directly to the CNMIO and CMIO, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support while enabling the smooth, effective operation of their offices and the broader Department of Clinical Informatics.
Why This Role Is Different
About You
You’re the kind of operator who thrives where things are moving fast and expectations are high. Whether your background is as an Administration Manager or senior Executive Assistant, you know how to bring order to complexity — and you genuinely enjoy it.
You’re proactive, tech-savvy and two steps ahead. You anticipate needs before they land, juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball, and create the structure that allows senior leaders to focus on big-picture thinking. Calm under pressure, highly organised and solutions-focused, you make busy environments feel seamless.
You’re also a confident communicator. From preparing polished board-ready documents and executive reports, to coordinating high-level meetings and managing sensitive information with discretion, you bring professionalism with a modern edge. You’re comfortable engaging stakeholders at every level of the organisation and know how to build trust quickly.
Strong Microsoft 365 capability is a given, and you’re adaptable enough to flex with operational demands. Most importantly, you’re someone who takes pride in enabling others to perform at their best — and enjoys being part of a forward-thinking, digitally driven team.
