Cancer Imaging is a critical service at Peter Mac, delivering high‑quality diagnostic and support services to patients and referrers. The administration team plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, effective coordination of services, and accurate billing and information management across the imaging service.
About the role
The Manager Administration, Cancer Imaging is responsible for leading the daily operations of the administration team, ensuring a high‑quality, customer‑focused service to patients and referrers. The role is also accountable for driving continuous improvement and reform of administrative processes, including the effective management of radiology information systems and billing functions to support efficient and accurate service delivery.
A regular day will see you:
Lead and manage the administration team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused services across front of house, bookings, billing and administrative functions.
Drive continuous improvement of administrative processes, systems and workflows, including radiology information and billing systems.
Oversee human resource management activities including recruitment, performance management, supervision, training and development.
Manage financial operations including budgeting, monitoring, reporting and ensuring effective revenue capture and compliance of billing practices.

You are a proactive and collaborative leader with strong operational and people management experience, ideally within a healthcare or complex service environment. You excel at improving processes, building high‑performing teams and delivering customer‑centred outcomes.
