About the Role
The Administration Coordinator position is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in government and be an integral part of a responsive, purpose-driven team that supports Victorian government school leaders with a focus on workload reduction and support, and child safety management and response.
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive team member to provide essential operational, financial, and administrative support to our division.
This role will work closely with the Executive Director and other members of the Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) division leadership team, assisting with a broad range of administrative, financial and operational tasks.

Experience or knowledge of Victorian Government administrative processes and working with Oracle, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and Salesforce are beneficial and should be stated in your application, however it is not mandatory for appointment to the role.

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

The Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) Division has a collective focus on reducing administrative and compliance burden for schools, supporting school child safety responses, improving policy and compliance support, and streamlining the volume and timing of communications to schools.
