Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Acute Stroke Nurse to join our growing team on either a part time (0.7EFT) ongoing.
The Acute Stroke Nurse works collaboratively with the Stroke Coordinator and multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, evidence-based care for patients presenting with acute stroke or Transient Ischaemic Attach (TIA). This specialist role supports coordination of the stroke patient journey across the continuum of care – from Emergency Department presentation through acute inpatient management, rehabilitation planning and outpatient follow-up. The position leads stroke knowledge development for acute nursing teams and contributes to service quality through performance monitoring, benchmarking and continuous improvement in stroke care delivery.
