About the role
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be a valued member of the Revenue Services Team. The role requires flexibility to work across multiple campuses and a proactive approach to process improvement and involves a range of financial responsibilities, including cashiering, invoicing, petty cash management, and reconciliation. You will work closely with Admission staff and Patient Liaison Officers to ensure accurate billing and resolve any discrepancies in payments or health fund claims.
Key responsibilities include processing payments and receipts, reconciling floats, and preparing banking, raising accurate invoices for hospital goods/services, Investigating and following up on short payments, overpayments, and health fund rejections. Handling debtor queries and ensuring timely collection of accounts.
