2027 Non-Accredited Plastic Surgery Registrar
About the role:
Applications are sought for a Non-Accredited Plastic Surgery Registrar seeking employment at Western Health for 2027. You will work as part of a team to provide high quality patient care.
About Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery:
The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Western Health is staffed by 11 Plastic Surgeons, 5 registrars (2 accredited, 4 non-accredited) and supported by a team of residents and interns. Areas of clinical exposure will include general plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, skin cancer surgery, trauma surgery, head and neck surgery, microsurgery and breast reconstructive surgery.
Outpatient clinics are held for adult and Paediatric plastic surgery with consultant plastic surgeons, as well as dressings clinics led by registrars. Clinics occur at Sunshine and Joan Kirner Hospitals. Surgery is mostly undertaken at Sunshine Hospital but may be performed at all campuses as required.
