A Business Manager role will usually undertake tasks that impact on the whole school. The role seeks to gain cooperation of other staff members or members of the school community to achieve specific objectives, such as in school administration, finance or human resources.
Direction on targets and goals is provided but the position will have some degree of latitude in determining how they are achieved. This latitude will generally be limited by standard procedures and school policy. Deviation from standard procedures and school policy will require guidance and direction from senior management.
Management of staff to achieve the expected outcomes is a key responsibility. Staff management issues will be resolved with minimal reference to senior management, although guidance will be required in more complex cases. Senior management will be provided with timely reports and advice in matters relating to the school finance, human resources or school administration.

Concongella Primary School¿s current enrolments are 32. The staffing profile consists of highly experienced, motivated and caring staff. Three full time teaching staff, five education support staff, three specialist staff and a principal. Students are taught in 3 learning environments; F-2, 3-4 and 5-6.
One of our greatest strengths is our commitment to providing highly individualised learning for every student, ensuring teaching is targeted to each learner's point of need. This is achieved through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), implemented in 2025, which enables staff to deliver timely intervention, extension and differentiated learning opportunities.
At Concongella Primary School, students participate in three hours of dedicated literacy instruction each day, delivered through our Core Literacy Direct Instruction model for Years 3¿6 and our evidence-based Foundation¿Year 2 Literacy Program. This is complemented by a structured, explicit Mathematics program that provides consistency and strong foundations for student success.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to maximise learning throughout the day. Students participate in a fortnightly specialist program including Visual Arts, Physical Education and MARC Library, while Wellbeing, Physical Education and Inquiry Learning are delivered during afternoon sessions, providing a balanced approach to academic achievement, creativity, physical development and student wellbeing.
