Barwon Health is seeking applications for Otolaryngology (ENT) Unaccredited Registrar positions. In this role, you will provide effective, supervised day-to-day clinical management of patients within the ENT clinical unit.
You will be responsible for the overall care of ENT patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, including prioritising the management of multiple patients according to clinical urgency. The role involves organising and coordinating appropriate investigations in consultation with senior medical staff and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient conditions, investigation results and clinical decisions in the medical record.
You will prescribe inpatient and discharge medications under the guidance of senior clinicians and regularly review medication plans, remaining aware of potential drug interactions and adverse effects. The role also includes participation in general clinical reporting requirements and after-hours, on-call and recall rosters as required by the unit.
