About the role:
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) to join our team.
This role would suit an advanced trainee in PEM through RACP or ACEM pathways. It would also be suitable for ACEM TS3 / TS4 advanced trainees. The appointed fellow will work on the consultant roster with senior support available. There would be weekly non-clinical time allocated for departmental education and administrative roles and the pursuit of individual educational activities such as airway management, paediatric specialist clinic time or neonatal experience. There is significant opportunity for contribution to research with established links. This role has been created to allow adequate clinical exposure with support as a senior decision maker in Paediatric ED whilst also having time to enhance learning in the breadth of the consultant role.
