The future of education for Greenvale is now here and students will be prepared for, and encouraged to dream, believe, and achieve.
Our school opened in 2022 and is growing steadily, living up to this ambition. In 2025, the College has Year 7 - 10 student cohorts. We will add a year level every year following. In 2025, the College adds the Year 10 cohort and commences our program planning for senior secondary options to ensure all students have excellent opportunities and outcomes after their schooling.
At Greenvale Secondary College, we focus on supporting individual students wherever they are at in their learning and social development, to ensure our students can feel successful and challenged to be their best. An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students but must not include duties of a teacher as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students can be required individually or in groups up to 4 in controlled circumstances and where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
Certification and/or qualifications of up to three years can be required at this level (noting that Registered Nurse is not included at this level, the first level for which is Level 1 range 3).
A role at this range may include:
An education support class position at this range commencing at the base will initially be limited to undertaking routine tasks that are carried out under close supervision and direction. Work that carries some degree of independence will generally involve a limited number of tasks performed on a regular basis where priorities are clear, procedures are well established, and direction is readily available. Subject to any specific qualification and/or training requirement, an education support class employee employed in this range may be progressively required to undertake coordination, specialised student/teacher support tasks, or technical tasks as experience in the role is gained.

Administration / Accounts Payable
Manage accounts email
Print and process invoices - check, confirm and enter into Cases21
Enter all approved purchase orders into Cases21 and process accordingly
Prepare payment run
Maintain the C21 Creditors database
Create new creditors as required
Ensure the consistency and accuracy of the database
Complete annual ABN check on creditors using the ABN Lookup Too
Manage College payments including:
Carry out all CASES21 Finance Accounts Payable processes ¿ Entering all purchase orders, invoices, credit notes, AIMS work orders and process payment of all creditor invoices and school purchasing card transactions according to DET guidelines
Process approved purchase orders within Compass to C21
Ensure procurement requirements are met (e.g. thresholds/quotes) and secure supporting documentation to each payment voucher
Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and invoices
Process all creditor and School Purchasing Card transactions to C21¿
Ensure that all invoices are endorsed to show that the goods have been received and/or the service has been performed¿
Ensure that the Purchasing Card Register is current
Reconcile creditor statements
Support the Business Manager to prepare creditor payment vouchers and process payments weekly
Upon payment, mark all vouchers, invoices and supporting documents as `paid¿
File creditor payment vouchers numerically and archive them annually
File School Purchasing Card payment vouchers in the PC folder
Scan the School Purchasing card payment voucher with invoices and purchase orders and save it to Finance EOM folder each month
Liaise with staff and suppliers regarding account queries
Manage the collection of Parent Payment Arrangements including payment plans and refunds.
